HENDERSON- Jerry Franklin Robertson, 81, of Gillburg Road, died December 30, 2025 at his home. Born August 31, 1944 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Pauline West Robertson and Amos Franklin Robertson. His employment history included 24.5 years as a roofer with Owen E. Gupton Roofing and eight years with Southern Quilters. Jerry was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed NASCAR, his Tarheels, the NFL and professional wrestling.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Johnny Yount. Burial will follow at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty Faye Reid Robertson of the home; two daughters, Nancy Robertson Owen and husband, Donnie of Oxford and Pamela Robertson Smith and husband, Dirk of Henderson; his grandson, Clifton Reid Bridges; his sister, Joyce Faye Robertson Raynor and husband, “J.B.”; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Ellis, Jay Ellis, Frankie Stegall, Anthony Fowler, Charlee Fowler, David Smith and Talmadge Stainback.
