Mr. Russell was born October 6, 1950 in Madison, TN to the late Odie Russell and Laurine Wilburn Russell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Jeffrey Russell. He is survived by wife of 32 years, Cristal Diane Thompson Russell of Gallatin; sons, Jonathon Wesley Young (Shawna) of Bethpage and Jeremy Weston Russell (Elizabeth) of Portland; sister, Jane Christian (Mike) of Castalian Springs; grandchildren, Madison "Maddie" Young, Benjamin "Bo" Young, and Samuel "Sam" Young. Mr. Russell retired as an engineer for Electrolux after 42 years of service. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.

Brother Jerry Russell was someone I worked with at WHIN for eight and a half years. There was not a finer man than he was. It was an honor to work with him all of these years. May God be with the family in this time. He stands in the presence of God now and I look forward to seeing him again.
