Jerry Shular Obituary
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly forty years, Wanda Henderson Shular; a daughter, Rebecca Shular; and two sisters, Glenda and Judy Shular.
He had a huge personality and never met a stranger. Once you met him, you never forgot him. Jerry will be remembered as a comedian with a commanding presence.
Jerry is survived by one daughter, Melanie King, and her husband, Dustin; two granddaughters, Savannah Brasher and Trinity Bass; one nephew, Christopher Shular; two nieces, Laura Shular and Dedi Hannah, and her husband, Daryl.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff of Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation, for their dedicated care throughout his time there.
Per Jerry's wishes, no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation at 75 Fisher Loop, Maggie Valley, NC 28751
