Jerry Lee Smith

Jerry Lee Smith was born on August 4, 1954, and passed from this life on December 7, 2025. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loyal, and loving man who found joy in simple pleasures and deep meaning in caring for his family.
Jerry loved spending time outdoors, especially when he could be fishing. At home, he enjoyed watching old westerns, episodes of The Big Bang Theory, and listening to his favorite Elvis songs. His loyal dog, Ruby, was always close by, sharing quiet evenings together.
Jerry had a special fondness for his trucks, keeping them running smoothly and taking pride in every drive, whether down a dirt road or through the city. He cherished time with his children, enjoyed tending to his yard, and cared for his chickens and rooster with the same steady dedication he brought to every part of his life. He loved his trips to Sonic for a Coke with extra ice and rarely passed up the chance for an onion burger from J&W Grill in Chickasha. He also treasured visiting Anadarko, the place where he grew up.
A committed and hardworking man, he spent time with Renfro fencing before becoming a skilled electric journeyman, Jerry devoted his life to providing for his family. More than anything, he wanted his children to know they were loved, and he showed that love through the work of his hands and the constancy of his presence. Jerry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
He is survived by his son Jesse Lee Sharum; daughters Shanda, Jerri Michelle, and Tara Sharum; grandchildren Natalie, Jourdyn, David, Mia, Klarissa, Isaiah, Alexis, Senalda, Cruz, Angelo, Serenaty, Dayami, Dayana, Elysia, Elyana, Jaime, Luciano, Yazmin, Lorenzo, Ezekiel; one great-grandchild on the way; sister Sherry Geach; brothers Harold "Butch" McClary and Travis Renfro and wife Dawn as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Jerry is preceded by his parents; sister Janet Roby; brother Terris Renfro; nephew Travis Renfro Jr; grandson Emanuel Sharum; and best friend of 50 years Paul Bailey.
