Jerry Wayne Stephens

Jerry Wayne Stephens born January 14,1942 in Gould Oklahoma passed away peacefully in his home on March 19, 2023.
He was an Army Veteran, truck driver and most recently a machinist at American Gypsum. He loved spending time at the lake, fishing, camping, gardening, tinkering on everything and going to Wal-Mart to visit. He was a wonderful husband, dad and papa. If you knew him, you'd knew he loved to scare people and pull pranks. Jerry never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents Othar and Ethel Stephens; brothers Joe Stephens, Edward Stephens, and Arvil Stephens; sisters Joyce Bates and husband Melvin, Dorothy Teague and husband Jimmy, Chloe Beth Moore and husband Weldon, Billie Sue Harris and husband Bob, Theo Williams and husband Albert.
Jerry was survived by his loving wife of 47 years Virginia of the home; three sons; Gary Stephens and wife Cindy, Terry Callaham and Joey Stephens; three daughters Christy Waterman and husband Clay, Melissa Stephens and Elane Still; his grandkids Alexis Hall, Gunner Still, Chris Waterman, Casey Anderson, John Michael Stephens, Jalyn Wilson, Krystal Demoss, Matthew Stephens, Stormy Riggs ad Samantha Weir.
The memorial will be in Gould Oklahoma at the Community Building at 1:00pm on March 25, 2023. The family would like for stories or memories to be written down so we can have them for later to read. We are also asking for you to wear blue to the memorial since it was his favorite color.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
