William “Jerry” Teate, of Cobbtown, passed away on February 9, 2026, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
Jerry was born November 4, 1951 and lived in Cobbtown for many years. He was a son of Oscar and Thelma Teate. He was the brother to Glenda Fay Teate Jackson who took care of him for many years. Jerry loved his family, he loved to fish, and he loved animals.
Jerry is survived by two nephews, Chris Fisher and Steve Fisher as well many other family members and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
