Jerry Ward Obituary
Jerry Lee Ward, 58, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on July 30th, 2023. Jerry was born on July 8, 1965. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Betty Ward.
He is survived by brothers, Garry Ward (Mary Jane Rodgers-Ward), Jeff Ward, and sister, Cindy Dye; nieces, Kara Ward, Lindsey Chandler and Jennifer Stowers; great-nieces, Willow, Jasmine and Brea; nephews, Mike Dye and Brian Ward-Silvey; and great-nephews, Maxwell and Keegan; and soulmate and dear friend, Elisha Helton.
Jerry graduated from Southport High School in 1983 and Indiana University, with a Bachelor of Political Science in 1988. He loved the sport of Racing and collecting Baseball cards. Jerry enjoyed going to the Indy 500 and Indianapolis Speedrome. He also loved taking family trips to the Florida Keys.
Jerry lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and concern for others. Jerry will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched, and especially by his work family at McCammon's Irish Market.
The visitation will be held Thursday, August 3rd at Lauck & Veldhof Funeral Home between 5 and 8 p.m. with services to follow. It is located at 1458 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46225.
