A funeral service for Jerrye Addington Clancy, 86, will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Jerrye was born on July 5, 1939, to Agnes and Irving Addington in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jerrye lived a life filled with love for her family and the quiet joys that brought her peace. She was widowed in 2022 after the loss of her husband, Kelley Clancy. Jerrye worked for several years as a warranty clerk at car dealerships, where she was known for her dedication and steady presence. She also loved reading and could often be found with a book in hand.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelley, and her son, Michael Bolyer. She is survived by her two daughters, whom she loved deeply. Her family meant the world to her, and she carried that love with her every day.
Jerrye’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be missed by her family and friends and remembered for the love she gave and the life she lived.
Jerrye was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Irving Addington; husband, Kelley Clancy; and son, Michael Bolyer. She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Virginia Vargas, and husband, Richard, and Angela Beth Pirtle and husband, Chance; and three grandsons, Michael Dylan Torres, Traytin Chance Pirtle, and Brycen Cade Pirtle.
