Jesse Eugene Brummett Jr., 51, of Sunman passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the son of Jesse Brummett Sr. and Betty Gail (England) Jones.
Jesse loved tinkering with cars and sharing drinks and laughter with friends. His generous spirit, quick wit and zest for life touched everyone he met.
He is survived by his children: Matthew (Donna) Brummett, Cody Brummett, and Sonny Lindauer; mother, Gail Jones; sisters: Peggy Brummett-Kolodzik, Rhonda Cook, and Angela Nunez-Alejandre; step brother, Theodore Thomas; grandchild, Emily Brummett; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Sr.; step-father, Theo Jones Jr.; cousin, Elizabeth; and his grandparents.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held following at 1:00 pm all at Meyers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.

Man brother seeing you Monday was a blessing but not in a million years did I think it would be the last Jesse and I went to school together no matter who he was with or were we would run into each other he made sure to come over and shake my hand and ask how I was doing he had a heart of gold would help anyone anytime if he had the ability too you will be missed brother but not forgotten see ya on the other side
