Jesse Colton Ford, a cherished soul known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to his loved ones, passed away on June 15, 2024, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on November 4, 1994, in Paragould, Arkansas, Jesse's infectious smile and boundless energy were a gift to all who knew him. Jesse's passion for life was evident in all his endeavors. He was a valued employee at Monroe. He was an avid gun collector and marksman. He enjoyed time to himself riding motorcycles. Athleticism was a cornerstone of Jesse's identity. As a dedicated weight lifter, he spent countless hours at Anytime Fitness. Above all, Jesse's love for his family was evident. He looked forward to showering his nieces and nephews with affection and serving as a role model. His protective nature and deep care for his family's well-being were the hallmarks of his character.
Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Ford; step-father, Larry Betts; niece, Olivia Ford; and grandparents; Arvel and Geneva Matheny, B.C. and Clara Ford.
Survivors include his mother, Glenda Betts; sisters, Darrea Ford and Amanda Pillow; step brother, Richard Betts; step sister, Jennie Southard; nieces and nephews, Brian Ford, Phoebe Ford, Ava Ford, Sunshine Pillow, Sawyer Newman, Ricky Betts, Jessica Betts, Brody Betts, Jake Betts, P.J. Baggett, and River West.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, at Phillips Funeral Home.
