Jesse Robert Ford Jr.

Jesse Robert Ford, Jr. 73, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was born on February 25, 1952, to Mary James Gallier Ford and Jesse Robert Ford, Sr., in Beaumont, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Above all else, Jesse loved his family. He worked hard to provide the best for them and keep them laughing. (Including his fur grandsons Henry, Harrison, and Ron.) He loved playing his guitars, riding his Harley, listening to rock music, and though he would deny it, loved being the center of attention! As a self-proclaimed "shy and quiet guy," his family always laughed because he was anything but. Gillian, Holli and her husband Justin, Jesse and his wife Lisa along with their children Max and Millie will miss him terribly. But they know he is with them in spirit ready to make a joke from Above just to put a smile on their faces.

Survivors include his wife, Gillian Z. Ford; mother, Mary James Ford; children, Holli Broussard and her husband, Justin, of Beaumont and Jesse Ford III and his wife, Lisa, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Max Andrew Ford and Mille Rose Ford; sister, Ruth Yancey; brothers, Steve Ford and his wife, Lisa and James Ford and his wife, Laura; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Robert Ford, Sr.

A gathering of Mr. Ford's family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Friday at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
