Paula Pyles

Paula Pyles, 72, of Sour Lake, died Monday, February 9, 2026. She was born on May 13, 1953, in Anahuac to Virginia Ellen Herrington and Edmund Leigh Gale.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; her son, Gale Robertson and his wife, Robin; and their children, Zachori Pierce, Hannah Henderson, and Arron Robertson; her son, John Robertson and his wife, Jennifer; and their children, Rhett Robertson, Claire Robertson and Chloe Robertson; great-granddaughter, Amelia Henderson; brother, Steve Gale and his wife, Cathie; and sister, Linda Biggers and her husband, Homer.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Pyles family and friends will begin 9:00 a.m. with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 765 6 th Street, Sour Lake. Her interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
