Jesse Eugene "Jess" Goodman

Jesse "Jess" Eugene Goodman, 67, passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born in Camarillo, CA, on July 13, 1958, to Jesse Alton Goodman and Lois Dean (Burnett) Goodman. Jess Goodman was the life of the party. He had a larger-than-life personality and loved to live large. He loved to joke and had a great sense of humor. His characteristically loud laugh could be picked out of any crowd. Dogs and kids always seemed to be attracted to his boisterous personality. Jess was also a hard worker and had been working as a welder since he was 16 years old. His last job as a welder was for the University of Arkansas for over 10 years. Outside of work, Jess's number one passion was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also loved to go boating, hunting, fishing, and RVing. But most of all, Jess loved to be with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Jess would do anything for his beloved grandchildren. Jess will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him and love him. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Nellie Goodman of Siloam Springs, AR; children, Gavin Goodman and wife Kimberlee of Siloam Springs, AR, Sarah Eberley of Fayetteville, AR, and Jesse David Goodman and wife Tori of Springdale, AR; brothers, David Goodman and wife Vicky of Siloam Springs, AR, and Bruce Goodman of Kansas, OK; grandchildren, Gracelyn Goodman, Peighton Goodman, Dylan Eberley, Remington Goodman, Ivy Ford, and Zylee Goodman; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held at Wasson Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, AR, on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
