RINDGE, NH/ ASHBY: Jesse J. Johnson, Sr., 45, of Rindge and a former longtime Ashby resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at his residence.
Jesse was born in Nashua, NH, November 7, 1979 the son of Daniel W. and Sheryl A. (Michaud) Johnson and was a lifelong Ashby resident before moving to Rindge seven years ago.
Jesse was a 1997 graduate of Montachusett Regional Technical High School in Fitchburg where his focus of study was Machine Science.
Following his graduation from high school, Jesse enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served five years as a helicopter mechanic.
For the past five years Jesse worked as a mechanic at the Groton Department of Public Works. Previously, he had worked in a similar capacity at the Ashby Department of Public Works as well as for the William N. Lamarre Concrete Products in Greenville, NH, Deluxe Corporation In Groton and Nagle Aircraft Services in Fitchburg.
He enjoyed hunting fishing and boating.
In addition to his parents of Ashby, Jesse leaves his Fiancée, Tammy LeBlanc of Rindge, NH, two sons, Jesse J. Johnson, Jr., Ryan Johnson both of Rindge, NH; his daughter, Nicole Johnson of Rindge, NH; his sister, Anne Marie Early of Ashburnham.
Jesse's family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation period 4- 7 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street (Rte 119) Townsend Center.
