Jesse Lynn Marchant was born on April 11, 1961, to Gayla Pando. He passed away on October 3, 2025, in the hospital surrounded by his family.

Jesse was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a dedicated member of the Salt Lake City Waste Management team where he faithfully served the community for many, many years. He was just two months away from a well-earned retirement, a milestone he looked forward to with his family and friends.

His hobbies were fishing, gardening, and playing the guitar. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family. He was a proud family man. His family was everything to him. He was a country boy at heart. He was a devoted son and always put his mother Gayla first. He liked to drink his coffee, water his garden, and watch the sunrise with his mother.

He is survived by his mother Gayla Pando, his children Cherise Marchant, Amarissa DiCarlo (Edward), Ryleigh Coyle, Miria Marchant, and Melissa Marchant; Siblings Pamela Salas, Sean Marchant, and Shelle Marchant, 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ivan and Esther Neilsen, brother Joel Marchant, Uncle and best friend David Neilson.

His memory will live on through his grandchildren Anisha, Genesse, Sarenidy, Tristen, Adriana, Samuel, and Angalina.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10AM-10:45 AM at McDougal Funeral home, followed by the Funeral Services at 11AM.
