Jesse Pearson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 21, 2023.
JUSTIN - Jesse Dwain Pearson, 75, passed away Jan. 12, 2023.
Dwain was born in Cooper, Texas June 1, 1947, to Jesse Garrison and Neoma Pearson. He graduated from Lamesa High School in 1965.
Dwain didn't like being told what to do, which lit the fire of entrepreneurship. He had his own construction and trucking companies through the years. He also had a passion for refurbishing old cars. In his later years he was able to live his dream of buying and selling classic cars. He was always excited for the next project. Not only did Dwain have a passion for old cars but he also had a passion for his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing games and laughing. You could always count on a good laugh when he was around. He never failed in bringing the fun.
Dwain was an avid believer in The Word of God. His Bible is riddled with notes from his studying. He believed in the power of prayer and would pray for anyone, anytime. The family has comfort in knowing that he is resting in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
Dwain was preceded in death by his father, Jesse; mother, Neoma; and stepfather, James.
Dwain is survived by his son, Darin and wife, Yolanda; daughter, Danna and husband, Charles; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Ray; sisters, Pat and Sharon; and many other family and friends.
Psalms 34:18
The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
