Palmira "Mira Sozio" Pearson

Palmira "Mira" (Sozio) Pearson, age 57, of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. She was the wife of Wayne F. Pearson, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of Anna (Trasente) Sozio and the late Pellegrino Sozio. She had lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life, and had also spent seven years living in Italy with her family.

Mira was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was a proud stay-at-home mom, lovingly taking care of her children, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt whose presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Wayne and her mother Anna, she is survived by her two children, Wayne O. Pearson and Amanda L. DiPietro and her husband Peter A.; her sister, Rita Bouzane and her husband Thomas, her grandson, Benjamin DiPietro; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Kim D. Sozio, Theodore Pearson, Deanna Pearson, Diane Pearson; her mother-in-law, Ingrid Scott; her nieces, Danielle Sozio, Cristina Bouzane, Catherine Wisowaty, and Maci Pearson; and her nephews, Nick Sozio, Christopher Bouzane and Cooper Pearson. She was predeceased by her brother, Onofrio "Norm" Sozio and her father-in-law, Theodore Pearson.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4PM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn, with a funeral service beginning at 4PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
