On December 30th, 1987, in Phoenix, Arizona, Jeff and Bobbi Barnhill were made the proud parents of their beautiful baby girl and Lindsey became the big sister of Jessica Danielle Barnhill.
Jessica moved with her parents to San Diego in 1989 and then to Bahrain in 1990 where she attended reception at St Christopher’s through year two. In 1991 Jessica and her parents welcomed her baby sister Kristin. They would spend their life together as best friends. In 1995 she moved from St Christopher’s to Bahrain International School, where she attended through 6th grade. While there she received the Presidential Academic award, played flute in the Bahrain school orchestra, learned her passion for art, and was a member of the school’s swim team. Jessica loved the most magical place on earth, she visited “Disneyland, Disney World, and EuroDisney as often as possible.
In the summer of 2000 she moved with her parents and sister Kristin to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she performed in competitive cheer and dance. She graduated from Lincoln High in 2006, where she made many beautiful lifelong friends, who love and miss her dearly.
Jessica’s greatest love was her daughter Sydney. They loved spending time on the beaches of Florida and Alabama, creating artwork, watching movies, and listening to music together. She also loved spending time in Arizona and North Carolina with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Jessica attended Weatherford College, where she was a member of the college cheer team. Her creativity allowed her to pursue many passions throughout her lifetime.
Jessica had a great sense of style and the best sense of humor with a contagious laugh, she had a way of making people feel loved and like family.
Jessica passed away unexpectedly November 3, 2023, in her home in Fairhope, Alabama. She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jessica is the mother of Sydney Schnare and is also survived by her father, Jeff Barnhill; mother, Bobbi Barnhill; sisters, Kristin Barnhill, Lindsey Hall, and Jaclyn Thorne; grandfather, Samuel Barnhill; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Jessica was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Faye Barnhill and Barbara Lond.
A funeral ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, in Willow Park, Texas, with visitation beginning two hours prior, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Aledo Brown Cemetery.
