I was in a production of Vanities with Jay-- we were high school friends turned college friends, and the play was constant hours between the three of us in it. She was dedicated and driven, but always took time to entertain and lighten the mood. Even after and until now, she's been one of my oldest and most treasured friends, and it breaks my heart to lose her. All of my sympathies to her family and friends who feel the absence of such a bright presence in their lives

My first memory of Jessica is when she moved to Crookston in 9th grade. She joined choir and I was the choir director. The 9th graders rehearsed with the Jr. High students that year and there were 110 students in choir! Jessica stood out immediately with her confidence, her voice, her cooperation, and even support with all those students at one time. She was so very talented and she loved to sing!! She wanted to sing for her mom after school one day and she waited patiently for me to arrive, and sure enough, when I got to the auditorium, her parents were waiting for her to perform. I was so fortunate to have had her in choir all four years of high school. She brought such joy and energy to every performance whether it was choir, pop choir, solo contest, vocal ensembles or drama. I can picture her twirling in one of the pop choir dresses on stage! :) My deepest sympathy to Wendy, Dawson, and family. I'm so sorry this light in the world has been snuffed out at such an early age. May God comfort you in your loss and God Bless Jessica's memory. Sincerely, Mrs. Fjeld

I remember when the family first moved to Crookston & getting to do your hair for her personally & for the Miss Crookston pageant. Always a light that lit up any room. So very sorry for your families loss. Cherish all your sweet memories of Jessica.

Jessica was a co-worker of mine back in 2021, while Nicole was working there. She was a lot of fun to be around. My sympathies to her family.

Jessica was my Molly in a play at UMC. She was fun, bright, and full of spunk. I absolutely adored her and her spirit. This breaks my heart as she is gone way too early. I hope she knows how much she was loved and adored. Thinking and praying for her family during this difficult time.

I am so sad to know that this young, talented woman is no longer with us. I remember her competing in the Miss Crookston Scholarship Pageant, playing the role of Wednesday (fantastic!) and her perfectly hilarious and wonderful speech and Graduation.
Sending prayers of peace to her family and friends.

Jessica was a few years younger than me so we never had any classes together, but outside of that we were always pretty good friends. I loved acting alongside her and just talking about shared interests, or even recently when I would pop back up for a quick chat on social media. This Uncle Fester will be missing his niece until the next Addams reunion

She and I had similar last names and so we were seated next to each other in choir. It´s all history after that. We had countless sleepovers and adventures together and even though we had a bought of no communication, when we were able to grow and reconnect we jumped right back into it. I will always have a place in my heart for Jessica.
