She was born January 24, 1934 in Clay, WV to the late Blaine Downey and Marvel Mae Santy Downey. Also preceding her in death is her husband Larry Lee Call and brother Frankie Rudolph Downey.
Jessie was retired from the Federal Government, former employee of Hallmark in St. Albans, member of Grace Baptist Temple, a graduate of South Charleston High School. Her life was family that she loved dearly.
Surviving daughters Cheryl (Michael) Koontz, Cathy Call; brother Dana Carl (Alma Lee); grandchildren Cherie Michelle (Jason) Caudill, Jessica Renee (Devin) McKinney, Jennifer Jo (Ryan) Duffield; great grandchildren Lexie Duffield, Cameron Caudill, Kaelynn Caudill, Silas McKinney, Nolan Ryan Duffield and Kian McKinney.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 21, 2025, 1pm at Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans with Pastor Brian Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
