Jessie Casco, 52, of Moline, Illinois, passed away at home on Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by his family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Antonio Dittmer officiating. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
The son of Ricardo and Nicolasa (Quintana) Casco, Jessie Casco was born November 22, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois. He married Sara Montgomery, and from their union came his pride and joy—his daughter, Karyna—before the couple later separated.
Hardworking and loyal are the traits Jessie will be remembered for. He worked alongside his good friend, Scott Broer, for many years and in other areas of construction. He was also a skilled carpet layer and spent time working at his mother’s shop, Nico’s Tires, in Rock Island.
Jessie traveled frequently for work in his younger years and was known for always bringing along two televisions so he could game and watch TV at the same time. He made sure to have everything he needed to eat the way he liked, wherever he went. A passionate gamer, he especially enjoyed Call of Duty and Madden, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Above all, Jessie loved his family. After being diagnosed with cancer, he adopted a “fat cat” named Gordo, who brought him comfort and joy.
Jessie is survived by his beloved daughter, Karyna Casco of Rock Island; daughter, Alexis (Kyle) Fiebig, and her three children; step-children, Jena, Doug and Kyle Dreifurst and grandchildren, Vincent, Evalyn and Luciee; siblings, Ricardo Casco, Jr. of Rock Island, and Juana (Jeremy Seiber) Casco of Moline; nieces and nephews, Cara, Maria, Julian, Michael, Kristian, Marisa, Mason, Myles, Antonio, Kaia, Cesar Jr., Yesenia, Cecila, Sabrina, Kaelani, Adriana, Carlos, Ava, Nailea, Dominic, Ricardo III, and Sonya; and good friends, Scott Broer and Khristiain Lavino, who were like brothers to Jessie. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cesar Casco; great-niece, Maciella Harned; and one of his best friends, Scott Miller.
