Francisco Casco Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francisco Alfredo Casco Jr., age 39, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2025. Francisco was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose bright spirit touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Francisco was born on March 29, 1986, and from an early age, he exemplified what it meant to be family-oriented. He loved his family with all of his heart and had an extraordinary gift for making connections with people. Francisco never met a stranger – his warm and bright personality had a way of turning new acquaintances into lifelong friends almost instantly. Faith played a central role in Francisco's life. He found great joy in attending church with his family and was an active member of his church's band, where he shared his musical talents playing the drums with Verdad y Vida En El Grupo de Alabanza. His dedication to his faith community was evident in his service and the joy he brought to worship through music. Francisco had a generous heart and was always ready to help anyone in need. Whether it was lending a hand to a neighbor or supporting a friend through difficult times, he approached life with compassion and kindness that inspired others. When he wasn't helping others or making music, Francisco could often be found cheering on his beloved Houston Texans or eagerly anticipating the annual Turkey Bowl. His enthusiasm for these traditions brought joy to family gatherings and created lasting memories with those he loved. Francisco shared his home and heart with his two cherished furry companions, Fatboy and Frijolean, who brought him daily happiness and companionship. Francisco is survived by his loving parents, Francisco and Theresa Casco; his sister Sylvia Casco; Aunts and Uncles Joe & Roxanne Pena; Esmerelda Peña; Elvira & Rafael Valencia; Richard Pena & Sunday Harper; Louisa Casco; Leonel & Guillermo Amaya; Jose & Odelia Casco; Felix & Griselda Casco; and numerous cousins who will forever treasure their memories with him. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Isabel & Santos Hinojosa, Grandparents Joe & Guadalupe Peña; Miguel Casco; his beloved Aunt Anna Rangel; Uncle Mike & Mario Pena; and Jesse Pena. Francisco's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, his infectious smile, and his unwavering love for family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed by all who knew him, his memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those whose lives he enriched. We would like to give a very special thank you to the owners of Big Pappa's Smokehouse & More.
