Mrs. Jessie Lee Hendrix, age 89, of Easley, South Carolina made her transition on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Newberry County, South Carolina a daughter of the late James Smith and Lenora Hill Smith, and the wife of the late James Edward Hendrix.
She was a faithful member of Easley Chapel United Methodist Church, where she shared her time and talents serving Women of Faith formerly the United Methodist Women, as a gatekeeper earning the status as Senior Usher within the Ushers Ministry.
Mrs. Hendrix was not afraid of the word "work" from caring for her family, to giving (18) eighteen years of dedicated service as a machine operator at Michelin North America.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Jackie) Hendrix of Easley, South Carolina, and Joseph "Joe" (Nicki R.) Hendrix of Pelzer, South Carolina; two daughters, Anna H. Robinson of Pelzer, South Carolina, and Lenora (Mason R.) Smith of Easley, South Carolina; one brother, L. B. Williams Jr., of Silverstreet, South Carolina; four sisters, Mary Lousie "Mae" Gilliam, Mary Jane Graham, Peggy Ann "Susie" Williams, and Darlene "Dot" Williams; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life and Her Legacy will be held 2pm, Monday, October 20, 2025, at Easley Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend James Friday, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
