Jessie Chris Horsley, age 58, of Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born September 23, 1966, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Maxine Gilliam Horsley of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and the late Howard Horsley.
Jessie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Seal Master with 31 years of service and later spent his time farming and logging He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and listening to Gospel and Country Music and spending time with his family and his animals.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Rocky Dean Horsley, Douglas Marvin Horsley, Estill Martin Horsley; one sister, Sheila Ann Burriss; two brothers-in-law, David Hilander and Gary Hafer.
Jessie is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Hilander Horsley; one sister, Barbara Rose Hafer of Hillsboro, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Catherine Hilander, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m, Friday, August 29, 2025, at Esham Cemetery, in Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Greg Grimes officiating.
