Jessie Geneva Pipkin, 99, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 28th, at 10:00 a.m. at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, Texas. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.

Jessie was born on June 23, 1926, in Montague County to John and Ethel McCarter. Jessie grew up in Texas, where she developed the strong faith that would guide her throughout her life.She married Clinton Pipkin on January 1, 1945.

Jessie devoted much of her life to serving others as a Sunday school teacher and through her involvement in women's ministry. She was widely known for her unwavering faith and her passion for sharing it with others. When she wasn't asking someone if they knew Jesus, she enjoyed playing card games and spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered for her deep faith, her witty sense of humor, and her enduring love for God and her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel McCarter; her husband, Clinton Pipkin; son Eldon Pipkin and her four sisters.

Jessie is survived by her daughter, Darlene Pipkin; daughter-in-law Joyce Pipkin, grandchildren, Ginger Kemp, Darin Pipkin, Tammy Keeton, and Kevin Pipkin; her great-grandchildren, Preston Kemp, Savannah Kemp Rodriguez, Colin Pipkin, McKenzie Pipkin, Victoria Musgrove, Gabriel Pipkin, Allie Watkins, and Andrew Aube; and her great-great-grandchildren, Brantley Rodriguez, Lincoln Rodriguez, and Hudson Watkins.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her strong faith continue to live on through those she touched.
