Jessie was born in Manchester, KY on June 2, 1940, a daughter of the C P and Sudie Henson Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray Smith.
Jessie is survived by her children: Willie Ray Smith, Jr. and wife Sarah of London, Pamela Mills of Lily, Willa Jean Jackson of Manchester, Geraldine Bivins and husband Tommy of Danville, and Diane Lynn Smith of Manchester.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Jones; and by the following brothers and sisters: Grover "Bob" Smith, Armilda Roberts, Mable Smith, Kelly Smith, Willard Smith, and Geraldine Smith.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19th at Britton Funeral Home, with George Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at the Goose Rock Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19th at Britton Funeral Home.
