Ronnie was born in Manchester, KY on May 4, 1953, a son of the late Noah and Ada Smith Carpenter. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Diane Abner Carpenter; and his children: Ronald C. Carpenter, and Kimberly Renee Carpenter Hicks and husband James, all of Manchester.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Darian Carpenter, Zachary Hicks, Abigail Carpenter, and Alison Carpenter; and his great-grandchildren: Maverick Lee Hicks, Remington Clyde Carpenter, and Ramsey Colt Carpenter.
Also surviving are his brothers and sister: Otis Carpenter, Oder Carpenter, Carl Wayne Carpenter, and Gwendolyn Harris.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by these brothers and sisters: Paul Carpenter, Noah Carpenter, Jr., Jessie Mae Harper, and Martha Faye Hudson.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30th at Britton Funeral Home, with Scotty Sumner and Joe Crockett officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 30th at Britton Funeral Home.
