Jesus Alvarado

Jesus fondly known as Napo was born to Isidoro and Leonor Alvarado Cortez in Matehuala, San Luis
Potosi on Friday December 23, 1963.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife Rosa Maria Alfaro and his four children Joanna, Israel, Adriana, Jesus
Jr. along with their spouses Pablo, Luciana, Pedro, and Juanita. Thirteen grandchildren Aiyana, Pablito,
Matthew, Joseph, Noah, Roberto, Armando, Leslie, Eliah, Arian, Elias, Jimena, Emily.
Jesus was an intriguing individual who loved history and traveling the world. He knew random facts and
when checked by his children they were mostly correct (he loved to smirk and give the I told you look).
He was a big family man and loved to have his siblings, nephews, and friends all together even if it
meant cramming everyone in.
A man of big faith he loved to tell stories of the bible and he always found a way to remind you to stay
faithful. "Physically I won't be here but know that my soul will continue and one day we will all be
together again."
A mass will be held for Napo at the National Shrine of Guadalupe on Monday January 22, 2024 followed
by a viewing at 1:00 PM at Oak Cliff Calvario Funeral Home.
Jesús, conocido cariñosamente como Napo, hijo de Isidoro y Leonor Alvarado Cortez en Matehuala, San
Luis Potosí, el viernes 23 de Diciembre de 1963.
A Jesús le sobreviven su amada esposa Rosa María Alfaro y sus cuatro hijos Joanna, Israel, Adriana, Jesús
Jr. junto con sus cónyuges Pablo, Luciana, Pedro y Juanita. Trece nietos Aiyana, Pablito, Matthew,
Joseph, Noah, Roberto, Armando, Leslie, Eliah, Arian, Elias, Jimena, Emily.
Jesús era una persona intrigante que amaba la historia y viajar por el mundo. Conocía hechos aleatorios
y cuando sus hijos los comprobaban eran en su mayoría correctos (le encantaba sonreír y mirar con el
"te lo dije"). Era un gran hombre de familia y le encantaba tener a sus hermanos, sobrinos y amigos
juntos, incluso si eso significaba amontonar a todos.
Un hombre de gran fe, le encantaba contar historias de la Biblia y siempre encontraba la manera de
recordarte que te mantuvieras fiel. "Físicamente no estaré aquí, pero sé que mi alma continuará y un día
volveremos a estar todos juntos".
Se llevará a cabo una misa para Napo en el Santuario Nacional de Guadalupe el lunes 22 de enero de
2024, seguida de un velatorio a la 1:00 p.m. en la funeraria Oak Cliff Calvario.
