Jesusa Garcia Hernandez, 78, passed away on March 14, 2025, in Gregory, Texas. She was born on March 11, 1946, in Kingsville, Texas.
Jesusa dedicated much of her career to serving others as a cafeteria clerk at Taft Hospital and Austin Elementary in Gregory. Through her work, she connected with many people in the community and took pride in her role.
She found joy in traveling and visiting friends, always cherishing the time spent with those close to her. She also had a passion for playing bingo with her friends, an activity that brought her laughter and companionship.
Jesusa is survived by George G. Hernandez and Armando Hernandez. She was predeceased by Juan J. Hernandez and Juan Hernandez Jr.
Jesusa is one of three brothers and four sisters, Raul Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Henry Garcia Lucia G Bermudez, Beatrica G Garcia, Blysita G Cruz, Dora G Alvarado and Rosie G Chavera.
A funeral viewing will be held in her memory at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas, on March 20, 2025. Private viewing for family will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a public viewing from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Music will be played by Cynthia Longoria and Rebecca Riquelme. Rosary service will be held from 7:00 PM - 7:45 PM at the same location.
A funeral service will be held on March 21. 2025 at 10:00 AM with doors opening at 8:00 at the same location .There will be a lunch reception after the funeral held at the Gregory Parish Hall. 107 Church St. Gregory Tx.78359
