Ms. Jessica R Diaz was born August 4, 1951 to Miguel and Estefana Rodriguez in Fort Stockton. Jessica graduated from Lake View High School. She was employed for a time at WTU and then became an independent caregiver. Jessica took on the role of matriarch of the Rodriguez family as she opened her home to the whole family. She was the best sister, aunt, cousin, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to care for all the children who came into her home. There were so many who knew her as Ms. Jessica, Tia Jessica, and Nana.

Jessica was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Estefana Rodriguez; her brother, Quinten; her sister, Mellie; her brother, Mike Jr.; her nephew, Joe Villarreal; her niece; Mickey Villarreal; her nephew, Xavier Rodriguez, her brother, Ishmael Rodriguez, and niece; Sophia Villarreal.

She is survived by her sisters, Romanita Hernandez and husband Phillipe, Maria Rodriguez Moore, Bobbie Rodriguez and Vickie Salazar and husband Domingo.

Jessica is also survived by her sons, Cris Garcia and wife Elia Estrada, Carlos Santana Garcia; her only daughter, Graciela Garcia Suiters and husband Joe. She loved her grandchildren, Gregory Garcia, Alex Garcia, Nicholas Ramirez, Linwood Pulley, and her only granddaughter, Jasmine Pulley. Jessica has 12 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Jessica is survived by the love of her life, Mr. Richard Wuerittenberg. He has been her beau for over 30 years and her greatest joy. They shared their love of NBA, NFL, MLB, and black and white movies. Mr. Richard was her best friend and love.

Jessica is known for her great cooking like her chili con queso, pecan pie, and her chocolate fudge candy. She loved to cook for everyone that came over and she could whip up anything in an instant. Her energy and beauty are timeless. Miguel Rodriguez's girls are known to be strong like our dad. We all agree that Jessica was known to be one of the prettiest. She will be truly missed and always be in our hearts forever.
