Jewel Beck Clark, age 87, beloved wife of the late Ray L. Clark passed away at her home in Aiken on Sunday November 23, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Robert A. Beck Sr. and Lucy Whittle Beck. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert A. Beck, Jr., Hartwell J. "Bubba" Beck and Lonnie W. "Doll" Beck; sister Gloria Beck Fogle.
She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Beck Hallman, Joyce Beck (W.H.) Kirkland; and many nieces and nephews.
Jewel was employed by Farmers & Merchants Bank for 30 years. She was an active member of Warrenville First Baptist Church and active in many functions of the church; working with children, choir, home-bound members, along with a ministry of sending cards. Her hobbies were cooking, baking cakes and making floral arrangements. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.
A funeral honoring her life will be held on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Ronnie Duncan and Dr. Walter Pym officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial for Mrs. Clark will be private.
Mrs. Clark's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to her caregivers, Millie, Elmira, Christine, Betty, Keshia, Shalonda and Jennie.
If desired, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse Christmas Shoe Box Ministry C/O Warrenville First Baptist Church; 1012 Aiken Blvd. Warrenville, SC 29851, which was very special to Jewel's heart, or a charity of your choice.
