Jill D'Angelo Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Jill Ann Dooling D'Angelo on November 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on June 9, 1943, in Long Island, New York, Jill brought warmth and joy to every place she called home, most recently Wilmington, North Carolina, where she peacefully passed away.
Jill's life was a testament to enduring dedication, both professionally and personally. For 54 years, she was a committed member of the Jafra Cosmetics family, where she formed lasting bonds and left an indelible mark on colleagues and clients alike.
Her love for the natural world was evident in her passions: she found serene joy in gardening, felt inexplicable bliss near the ocean, and had a special affection for dogs-her beloved grand dog, Cooper, held a cherished spot in her heart. The delicate beauty of hummingbirds never failed to capture her attention, symbolizing the grace and lightness she embodied.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Joseph Dooling and Doris Wheeler Dooling, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the next phase of her journey.
She leaves behind a devoted family: her son, Daniel D'Angelo of Peru, Massachusetts; her daughter, Erin Musto and husband John of Scotia, New York; a legacy of love carried forward by her five grandchildren, Daniel D'Angelo, Michael D'Angelo, Marissa Mahoney, Anthony Musto and wife, Yenisei, and Zachary Musto. The joy of a great-grandchild, Cayden Levi Musto-Galaz, continues to light the family's pathway.
Though no formal services will be held locally, Jill's spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her. Online condolences may be sent to the family via www.wilmingtoncares.com, as her memories live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and zest for life.
The family would like to acknowledge Wilmington Funeral and Cremation for their thoughtful support during this time. At the closing of one remarkable chapter, Jill's legacy of love, resilience, and beauty begins anew in the stories, gardens, and skies she so dearly loved.
