Jill L. Darnold, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2024.
She was born September 20, 1959, to the late Ronald and Nadine (Carsey) Smith in Omaha, NE. Jill graduated from Platteview High School and retired from Physicians Mutual Insurance Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ronna Jensen.
Jill is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randy Darnold; children, Jason (Stacey) Darnold, Joy (Phillip) Brown, and Daniel (Ashley) Darnold; brother, Gary (Pat) Smith; sister, Bonnie (Elliott) Bade; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Nicole) Darnold; sister-in-law, Sherrie McSorley; grandchildren, Cavin Darnold, Josh Hopkins, Chris Darnold, Gage Brown, Riley Brown, Callie Darnold, Adelynne Darnold, James Darnold, and Jax Darnold; great grandchildren, Ainsley Hopkins, Emersyn Darnold, and Braxton Hopkins; special nephew, Terry (Brooke) Jensen and their children, Graham, Tucker, and Cooper; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2024. Memorials are suggested to the Harvest Church in Minden, Iowa.
