It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Damare Keating, a beloved soul who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 68. Jill was a passionate gardener, finding immense joy in nurturing all sorts of living things that reflected her colorful personality. Her artistic flair extended beyond gardening; she was also a talented decorative painter and used her skills in interior design to create beautiful surroundings wherever she could. As a native of New Orleans, the music, heritage, and spirit of the Crescent City shaped her entire life and brought her immense pride.
Above all, Jill cherished her family. She is survived by her devoted spouse, TJ Towery, and their loving children, Andrew Keating, Katharine Keating, Austin Towery-Blevins and Shaianne Towery-Blevins, as well as three beloved grandchildren. Those also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Joann Goodrich, Joseph Damare, James Damare, Jack Damare, Julie Damare, Jennifer Brisolara and Jan Whitehead, as well as her mother, Janet Alt Damare.
She is now reunited with her father, Jules Damare.
