Jill Nicole Light age 56, was born on August 2, 1969, in Muskegon, Michigan to Daniel and Joyce (Charles) Light and passed away on October 24, 2025. Along with her parents Jill is survived by two daughters, Brianna (Aaron) Black and Samantha Vallier; two siblings, Kelly (Christopher) Brunk and Daniel Light II; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jill devoted her life to nursing and was committed to the patients she served. She worked at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility until its closing in 2018. She enjoyed spending time outdoors walking, and especially morel mushroom hunting in the spring. Above all, her favorite way to spend time was with her family, friends, and beloved pets. Jill will be remembered most for her wittiness, devotion, and bravery.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Jill's favorite restaurant with close family and friends.
