Jill C. Scott, aged 83, passed away at home on October 7 in Milton, DE. Born on September 20, 1941, Jill dedicated her life to her family and her nursing career, touching the lives of many with her caring and compassionate nature.
Jill spent her professional life as a nurse, initially bringing new life into the world in the labor and delivery department at Wilmington General Hospital and later caring for her patients at Christiana Hospital in outpatient services. Her commitment to nursing was profound, providing comfort and care to countless individuals throughout her career.
Family was the cornerstone of Jill's life.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Patrick Kelley; her brother, Jack (Char); her son, David (Rita); her daughter, Lisa (Mike); her stepdaughters, Julie and Leslie (Jeff); her grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew), Shawn (Kim), and Sarah; her step grandchildren, Derek, Alex, and Julianna; and her new great granddaughter, Macie. Jill was preceded in death by her late husband, Earle Scott; her parents, John and Helen Crowley; and her stepson, Craig Scott (Vivian).
Jill was a person who cherished simple pleasures, enjoying regular happy hours, annual trips to Marathon, FL, holiday dinners, and spending precious time with her grandchildren. Her presence brought joy and warmth to every gathering.
