Jill Marie Zaiser

Jill Marie Zaiser, 47, of Washington, passed away at 5:25pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Timbercreek Rehabilitation and Health Care in Pekin.

Jill was born December 23, 1978 in Peoria to Donald L. and Kelly (Borton) Henderson. She married Joshua Zaiser and they shared three sons, Andrew, Quinten, and Easton, all of whom survive. Also surviving is her grandson, Carter; her father Don Henderson (Barb); grandfather, Donnie Borton; siblings, Jason Henderson (BJ), Jennifer Eckstein (Ben), and Jodi Heyder (Josh); and her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Her mom, Kelly Cooley; grandparents, Lloyd and Bertha Henderson and Janet Borton; and her parents-in-law, John and Susan Zaiser preceded her in death.

Jill grew up in Sunnyland, and in 1992 while in 8th Grade she was the starting 3rd Basemen for the District 50 Beverly Manor Wildcats State Champion Team. She continued to play softball until God blessed her and Josh with her first born son Andrew Brody Zaiser in 1995. God blessed her and Josh with two other children together, Quinten Charles Lee Zaiser in 2007, and Easton Daniel Zaiser in 2011. She also became a Grandmother at the very young age of 38 when God blessed her oldest son Andrew and Jordyn Finney with their son Carter Brody Zaiser in 2017. Jill loved her Zaiser boys more than anything else on this Earth, they were her pride and joy.

Jill worked over 15 years at Avanti's in East Peoria as a Manager, and later at Buttermilk Café in Germantown Hills as a waitress.

She was a diehard Cubs fan, loved listening to old country music, and watching movies. Following her boys' sports and spending time at the campground also brought her joy. Her favorite and most important role was loving and caring for her boys and making their house a home.

Visitation will be from 5:30pm-7:30pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory. A service to celebrate and remember her life will be held at 11am Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
