Jilliane Lucille Jackson was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday March 24, 2024. Jilliane was born on April 24, 2002 at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, Florida to Michelle Jackson and Kenneth Ezell Jackson.
Jilliane's childhood was filled with fun and adventures. She was a social butterfly with so many friends over the years. She participated in many sports and on many teams that included basketball, soccer, t-ball, swimming lessons for years, tennis since the age of five (ranked 10 in the state of Georgia at one point for 10 and under and played with the high school group at her tennis academy at 10yrs of age) and her favorite sport volleyball. From a young age Jilliane thoroughly enjoyed music. Going to countless concerts and even memorizing the lyrics to the musical Hairspray at the age of five. Her taste in music was very diverse. Jilliane was a socially oriented student but also very good at math. She graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 2020, but also attended Mountain View High school in Vancouver, Washington prior to moving to Florida. At Mountain View she made many friends, played on the Varsity Tennis team as a freshman and also on their volleyball and basketball team. Jilliane also enjoyed shopping for clothes, makeup and shoes like no one's business. She always liked her nails done. She had a great sense of humor and laugh that will be missed by all that knew her.
Jilliane was studying at Daytona State College, pursuing a business degree. She had a strong work ethic when it came to her job. She often worked on her days off. She would always say "I need to, it's my store" with such a sense of responsibility and pride. It was such a joy to see her move up the ranks at Journey's shoe store with the help of her first manager and friend, Brooke Mahan. She worked her way up from sales associate to co-manager, store manager, then a bigger volume store to most recently District Training Manager. Jilliane was so proud to share her new business cards with us. We were also so proud of her. Jilliane also loved dogs, laying out in the sun, concerts, haunted houses at Halloween, going to professional basketball games with her dad and inviting her friends to the games with them. She dreamed of buying a Jeep Wrangler one day. We pray she is enjoying all the things she loved on earth in heaven and finally has that Jeep.
Jilliane is survived by by her mother, Michelle, Father, Ken, older sister Halle Jackson, two grandfathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and a few dogs that love and miss her so much. Jilliane, your short earthly journey will never be forgotten. You touched the lives of so many people. The dreams you had will now be fulfilled in the presence of the Lord, his holy angels and your loved ones who preceded you. We will see you again one glorious day. We love you with all our hearts.

My sincere condolences... I came to know Jill through my daughter Trinity who worked at Journeys with her. We frequent the store often even though Trinity no longer worked there, she kept in touch with Jill as much as could through social media. When I first met her she said you and my Mom have the same name and have alot in common that's crazy. Every time she spoke with Trinity she asked when are you going to bring TrinMommy by to see me. That was her name she had given me. We just came to visit you 2 weeks prior to your passing and stayed for about 4 hours. Who knew that would be the last time we would see you. I am so heartbroken Jill and Trinity is devastated you were such a beautiful soul. May you Rest in Peace my sweet baby girl until we meet again.
