James Richard "Jim" Cole Jr. was born in Laurel MD to Anna Patricia Merryman Cole and James "Dickie" Cole Sr. He was a truck driver for more than 30 years. Jim enjoyed being outdoors, mainly hunting deer and turkey, and fishing. His family were his favorite people, especially the grandkids.
Jim is survived by his partner and wife of 40 years, Kathy McLeran Cole; children: Joslynn Starr Wornell, Daniel James (Natalie) Cole, and Jessica Louise (Michael) Bowen; grandchildren: Bradley Arthur Hurst, Zoey Louise Peterson, Gabriella Joelle Cole, Sara Angelica Cole, and Daniel James Cole Jr.; great-grandchildren: Sophie Copple and Niklaus Gray; mother: Pat Amos; sisters: Peggy Lynn Smith, Renee Hardy, and Tammy Chalk; and brothers: Ray Cole and John Cole. He is preceded in death by his father Dickie Cole, step-father Thomas Amos, sisters Penny Larose and Sandra Daugherty, and brother Billy Cole.
