Jim Farnes Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Farnes JR, and Terri Hanchay.
Jim was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church where he was actively involved with the children's ministry, and a regular volunteer at the Northwest Georgia Humane Society.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Rae Farnes; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Glicyl Farnes; sisters, Cheryl Cordova of New York, Tina Kohl of New York, Kristin Parkinson of Texas; granddaughters, Barbara and Florence.
The funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Homes on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Charlie Bridges and Rev. Ray Talley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made sent to NWGA Humane Society and Grove Level Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
