Jim T. Jackson, age 86, of Logansport passed away December 27, 2023, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born December 29, 1936, in Cookeville, Tennessee, Jim is the son of the late Herman and Maude (Jones) Jackson. On December 30, 1956, in Logansport, Jim married Myra E. Binney who preceded in death on March 4, 2010.
Jim retired from Exide and worked as a custodian for Logansport Community School Corporation.
Surviving Jim are two sons, Michael (Tammy) Jackson of Logansport, IN; Jim (Malinda) Jackson of Logansport, IN; four grandchildren, Chris (Kylie) Jackson of Zionsville, IN; Sean Jackson of Logansport, IN; Nathan Jackson of Logansport IN; Drew Jackson of Flora, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Jackson, mother, Maude Jackson, sister, Paunnee Price, and brother, Merle Jackson.
A funeral service for Jim Jackson will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Zimmerman officiating. A burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
