Jim Leet Obituary
He was born James Clifford Leet on January 3, 1944, son of Roger and Mary Bland Leet. Jim was retired senior salesman for The Hubbell Company out of Bridgeport, Connecticut . He was a 1962 graduate of Trinity High School, earned a degree at United Electronics and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Jim was an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church for almost 50 years. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Charlie Vettner Men's Club.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by siblings, Diane Doyle, Michelle Anderson, Jeffrey and Ann Leet.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sherrin Wiegand Leet; children, Shannon Leet-Hebestreit and Jason B. Leet (Jennifer R. Russ); grandchildren, Samuel K. Hebestreit, Kailin Leet and Devin Sharp; siblings, Gregory B. Leet (Penny) and Karen Tandy (Steve); and brothers-in-law, Bill Doyle and David Anderson.
Funeral mass is 10:00am Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road. Visitation is after 9:00am until the time of the service.
