Jim David Riddle, age 65, of Marceline, Missouri, passed away at his home on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Jim was born on August 11, 1960, in Lancaster, California, the son of William Dale Riddle and Sandra Dell (Dimitry) Riddle.

He was united in marriage to Misty (St. Clair) Riddle on September 10, 1983.

Jim graduated from Bucklin R-2 High School in 1979 and went on to attend trade school for auto mechanics. He dedicated his career to Moore Fans industry in research in development, most recently working at Moore Fans, where he was employed for the past 30 years.

Jim truly enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found fishing or hunting. He had a passion for old westerns and cooking, especially hosting hog roasts to raise money for first responders, something he took great pride in. He also loved riding motorcycles with his friends and spending time socializing, especially at the O.K. Tavern in Marceline, formerly known as Miss Ollie's.

Jim was a dedicated member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #726 in Marceline.

He is survived by his loving wife, Misty Riddle of the home; his children, Branden Riddle (Amanda) of Oak Grove, Erin Fellure (Jon) of Puyallup, Washington, and Megan Stephens (James) of Grain Valley; his grandchildren, Vaya and Ember Riddle, Theodore Fellure, Blake Stephens, Nora Thudium, and Ava Thudium; his brother, Tom Riddle (Elaine) of North Carolina; as well as nephews Shawn and Jon Riddle, niece Jessica French, and many other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Riddle.

Jim will be remembered for his generous spirit and love of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles #726 in Marceline on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jennie's Run or the Marceline Nutrition Site.
