Jim Simon, born on July 12, 1961, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 64 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, Kentucky.
Jim was a retired forklift operator for the old Johnny's Toys in Latonia.
He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tammy (Deaton) Simon. Jim was a proud father to his daughter, Carissa (Andrew) McCarthy, and son, James "Jimmy" Simon. He also leaves behind step daughter, Stephanie Watkins; and his grandchildren
In addition to his immediate family, Jim is survived by his sisters, Rose (the late Tim) Mathis, Jackie (Leland) Maxwell, Kate (the late Gene) Kenney, and Shelly (Jim) Zappa, along with his brothers, Tim (Rosie) Simon and Tom Simon. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Julie (Verst) Simon.
Family and friends are invited to honor Jim's life during the visitation and funeral service, both taking place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, located at 1833 Petersburg Rd, Hebron, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
Jim Simon will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
