Jim Tryon was born to Jewellene and Melvin Tryon on November 7, 1954 in Leon County. Jim grew up in the Sunnyside area in Houston, TX. Attending Attucks Middle School and graduated from Evan E. Worthing High School.
In April 1976 Jim married his high school sweetheart Linda Tigner. From this union they were blessed with a son Anthony and a daughter Angela whom he lovingly called Marie.
Sadly on Jue 21, 2022 he went onto be reunited with his lovely wife Mrs. Linda Tryon, both parents Jewelene and Melvin. His sister Jewely and Erma Jean. Sister in laws Rose Howard, Annetee, Brenda and brother in law Michael.
Jim worked and retired from the City of Houston.
He has left to cherish his memories a son Anthony (Tiara) daughter Angela Tigner. His grandchildren LaCourtney Williams, Brexton Penrice, Dzarious and Richard Bailey, Kiki Willis, Quevon Walley. His two great grandchildren Kortez Days-Carter, and Princeton Alexander. His surviving siblings Wilma Hankston his sister, Cleveland Reed, and Bobby Tryon his two brothers. A host of nieces and nephews, family & that loved him dearly.
