Jimmey Joseph Bouffine Jr.

Jimmey Joseph Bouffine Jr., of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 54. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 26, 1971, and was raised in St. Bernard Parish, where he resided until Hurricane Katrina.
Jimmey was preceded in death by his father, Jimmey Bouffine Sr.; his mother, Evelyn Matherne; stepfather, Eunice Matherne; and his beloved daughter, Samantha Bouffine.
Jimmey is the loving husband of 28 years to Lisa Bouffine. He also leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his daughter, Savannah Bouffine (Tyler); three grandchildren, Tristan Stephany, Amelia Waterman, and Ryder Schonewitz; five sisters, Penny Buffington, Cheryl Naquin, Amanda DeMary, Dawn Bouffine, and Jessica Johns; and a host of extended family members and friends, all of whom he loved greatly.
Jimmey's professional life was marked by dedication and skill as a crane operator for Kostmayer Construction. An avid fan of the New Orleans Saints, Jimmey rarely missed a game and took great pride in cheering on his favorite team.
Jimmey found comfort in the presence of his daughter, Savannah, whose care and affection provided him with solace and strength when his health began to decline. His interests, though diverse, always circled back to his family, especially his grandkids. Jimmey's heart was fullest when surrounded by those he loved. He will be deeply missed, but the impact of his life will continue to resonate far beyond his years.
