Jimmie Norris Daniell

Mr. Jimmie Norris Daniell, 92, of Temple, GA, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
Jimmie was born January 24, 1933, in Douglas County the son of the late Thomas Clorence "TC" Daniell and the late Carrie Dell Hilton Daniell. He worked for over 40 years at Color Graphics as a pressman. Jimmie liked working in the yard, gardening and metal detecting. He enjoyed playing Chess and Pool. When he was not doing one of these things, you could find him at the beach, the lake or traveling out west. He loved doing all these things with his family. His love for his family was never doubted. He leaves a legacy of love for all that were blessed to call him dad, granddaddy, friend, or husband. Jimmie was a member of New Brooklyn Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his siblings, Darthy Cohran, Margie Garrett and Louis Daniell.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bobbie Jean Swanson Daniell of Temple, daughters and son-in-law, Sandra "Sandy" and Cecil Harris of Temple, Karri Allman of Gulf Breeze Florida. Grandchildren, Amy and Brian Lindsay, Emily Thompson, Jacob and Sabrina Thompson, Kelly and Nick Webb, Taylor and Kate Poole, Natalie Allman, Casie and John Hembree, Crystal and Andrew Lovvorn, sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of J Collins Funeral Home with Mr. Cecil Harris officiating.
The family would like to thank Tanner Hospice Care and Amedysis Home Health for the exceptional service they provided to their loved one. Even during these last difficult years, he never lost his sense of humor. His infectious laugh will be remembered.
Interment will follow in New Brooklyn Baptist Church Cemetery with Jacob Thompson, Taylor Poole, Riley Bennett, Nick Webb, Brian Lindsay and Daemon Torres serving as pallbearers.
