Alice Lucille Daniell, age 81, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Sunday April 13, 2025 at Westbury Center of Jackson for Nursing and Healing. Alice was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia to the late Ben Franklin Johnson II and Zoa Otis Allgood on May 12, 1943. She graduated from Clarkston High School in 1961 and the University of Georgia in 1965. Alice received an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelors degree in Education. Alice worked for the Department of Family and Children's Services from 1972 to 1997 as a caseworker Alice enjoyed antique collecting, singing Opera, Cooking, gardening, Traveling and watching football. She was a caring and compassionate person. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her son, Christopher Shalar Daniell from Jackson, Georgia, daughter, Julia Mallonee, son-in-law, Matthew Mallonee from Griffin, Georgia, brother, Benjamin Franklin Johnson III of Gumlog, Georgia, and sister, Dorothy Jane Forrester of Milner, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben Franklin Johnson II and Zoa Otis Allgood.
A Memorial service is planned for Alice Lucille Daniell on May 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. You may visit the family prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm. Reverend Benjamin Franklin Johnson III will officiate. For those that desire, condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.haistenfuneral.com.
