On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Jimmie Franklin Dye, Sr. born on May 7, 1952, left us to join his savior at the age of 73.

Jimmie grew up on Signal Mountain, TN later moving to Chattanooga. He worked in the coal mines for years and later worked 20+ years for J.W. Parham Roofing. Jimmie had a big heart and was willing to help anyone who needed him. He always had a joke to tell and never left without telling you he loved you and call him if you needed anything. Jimmie never missed a chance to tell you about Jesus and his family.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Madelyn Marie Dye and Willis Dye, his sisters Marjorie Dye and Karen Dye, his brother, George "Butch" Dye, and the mother of his children, Carolyn Ritchie.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandy (Blaine) Miller, his sons Jimmie (Diana) Dye, David Dye, Brandon (Cindra) Dye, Cain Mathis along with 12 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. His brothers Carl Dye, Thomas Dye, Robert (Sandy) Dye, Wayne (Betty) Dye, Timmy (Anita) Dye, sisters Jane Dye and Debbie Dye. He had several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 11 a.m-1 p.m. followed by the service at 1 p.m. at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Larry Miller officiating.

Burial will immediately follow at Sawyer Cemetery.
