Jimmie Hayes Obituary

Jimmie was musically talented, an avid fisherman, and loved sharing laughter through his playful practical jokes. A devoted servant of God, he lived a life of faith, joy, and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Jesse Hayes; brothers Ottaway and Garland; his son Gus; and his wife, Janie.
He is survived by his children, Jimbo and his wife Donna of Flint, Texas; David of Chickasha, Oklahoma; and Gwen and her husband Gene of McAlester, Oklahoma, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jimmie's love, humor, and faith will be remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, 1:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, McAlester, OK.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
